American Family Insurance Leverages National Signing Day as CBSSports.com Title Sponsor

Today is National Signing Day, and that might not mean a lot to the casual sports fan, but for die hard college football enthusiasts it’s a pretty big deal. Last year, CBS’ network of college sites produced 2 million unique visitors from the one day event in which top high school recruits solidify their commitment to various colleges across the country.
This year, American Family Insurance is participating as the title sponsor, and is running ads targeting parents between 30 and 55 years old. The ad features parents driving their children’s youth teams to games, and coincides with CBSSports.com’s coverage across the entire network of sites.
After already sponsoring the Under Armour All-American Game, American Family Insurance appears to be building on that momentum, with the VP of ad sales for CBS’ primary National Signing Day website (MaxPreps.com) saying, “Signing day has grown into a huge event… American Family will own the branding experience on our sites."
