Progressive Plans to Add Over 1,100 New Jobs in 5 U.S. Cities

Progressive Insurance, the nation’s fourth largest auto insurer and number one provider of motorcycle insurance, plans to add 1,106 new jobs in five U.S. cities. Progressive has major offices in Austin, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Tampa, Cleveland, and Sacramento, and the plans for expansion will encompass all of those offices except for Sacramento.

The specific plans are as follows:

• 185 positions in sales, service and claims in Austin, Texas,
• 65 positions in sales and service in Phoenix, Arizona,
• 129 positions in sales and service in Colorado Springs, Colorado,
• 390 positions in sales, service and claims at its Riverview contact center in Tampa, Florida, and
• 337 positions in sales, service and claims in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Progressive said they hope to have the positions filled by summer, and that hiring is already underway.
